The best vineyards are an ecological triangle of animals, soil, and vines. Of these three elements, animals are often forgotten, but they are fundamental for a healthy and sustainable vineyard environment.

Sheep, chickens, horses, and llamas all play an important role in maintaining soil fertility, controlling parasites, and improving biodiversity, not to mention supporting the work that takes place in the vineyard.

During this tasting, you’ll hear from winemakers about how biodiversity and animals contribute to the health and vitality of their vineyards, and you’ll taste wines that reflect the triangle of life. The tasting line-up includes wines from France, Argentine, and Uruguay, produced by winemakers who integrate sustainable animals breeding and management into their vineyards.

This event is on sale on our website until September 24. During Terra Madre, you can check in with Events Reception to find out if there are still tickets available.

Terra Madre Salone del Gusto is presented by Slow Food, the City of Turin, and the Piedmont Region. We look forward to seeing you at Parco Dora in Turin from Thursday, September 26 – Monday, September 30. Through food, we can rediscover ourselves as part of nature. #TerraMadre2024.
