BIO Cantina Orsogna in Abruzzo is the largest biodynamic winemaker is Italy. They will talk about the importance of wine production that respects the natural world in all its diversity.

Raise your glasses to raise awareness! This workshop highlights six wines and four projects to inform consumers about the importance of their decisions and to celebrate biodynamic agriculture. Come learn about how uncontaminated meadows, insects, birds, other pollinators, and the work of local communities are crucial for the protection of biodiversity and soil fertility. Camillo Zulli, agronomist and director of BIO Cantina Orsogna, will lead us through a tasting of the following wines:

  • Cococciola
  • Pecorino
  • Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo
  • Montepulciano
  • Passerina
  • Primitivo
