Living in close contact with bees is a rare privilege, and the best way to raise bees, as sensitive beekeepers know, is actually to leave them largely to their own devices, tending to them and their hives with minimal intervention.

Our guide for this Taste Workshop is Enrico Zagnoli, biodynamic beekeeper at Zad AgroDynamics in Castel di Casio (Bologna Province). Through his stories and products, we’ll discover the precious secrets of beekeeping and learn to identify the qualities of good nectar and honey, that miraculous substance so revered by makers of sweets. Honey enhances the flavors of pralines, cookies, cakes, and sauces, singing across our tastebuds in a symphony of dazzling flavors.
