Acetic acid is usually considered a defect in beer… 

But there are beermaking traditions—associated especially with Belgium’s Flemish Region—in which acetic acid is a sought-after flavor. In this Taste Workshop we will sample some exciting and distinctive creations from Belgium (Rodenbach, Verzet), Italy (Baladin), and the United States (Dogfish Head). Teo Musso of Baladin and Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head will join us to present their exclusive collaboration, and we are also pleased to welcome special guest Andrea Bezzecchi of Acetaia San Giacomo, a producer of exceptional vinegars.
